1983 Dixie 16Ft. Fiberglass Bass Boat w/ 75 Evinrude

The Boat. 1983 Dixie 16 foot fiberglass with matching 1983 75 HP Evinrude 2 Stroke engine. She's a 3 owner boat. My father in law purchased this from the 2nd owner in May 2012. He parked it covered under a car port in 2018. It had not been in the water since then. He is now 84 and no longer can use it due to health issues. He wanted me to get it back in shape and sell it for him. So her she is. This Dixie is in fantastic condition for its age. I have a 1997 Scout that has a touch over 900 Hours and this boat looks to have half that if not less. No hour meter - so I can't be sure of hours but it was not surprise me if it had less than 500 hours use time. All work listed performed by myself - a 40 year ASE Certified mechanic. The 75 HP Evinrude is tight and clean. Compression is #1 cylinder 112 / #2 111 / #3 112. Right on the money for where a good tight engine of this type should be. Aluminum Prop that is in good condition. The plugs I pulled were very clean. Both starting and trolling battery's were replaced with NAPA Gold Marine Battery's. Correct Starting and Deep Cycle. 1 year full replacement. Both sides of Axle - Bearing's, Races and Seals replaced. Everything cleaned and re-greased with lucas red and tacky. New tires and rims. Plugs were replaced - Champion Copper Marine Spark Plugs. I have a extra set of 3 that go with sell. Nice to have on hand just in case. Tongue Jack is new. Live well pump is new. Replaced the Fuel Water separator / Napa Gold Filter. New Coupler Brass lock with 2 keys. New Trailer Light Kit. 2 New Kidde Marine Fire Extinguisher's. Evinrude OEM Fuel pump Kit, New. Evinrude Water Pump Kit, New. I reworked the front winch and installed a new bow guard. Was not fond of the way it was set up. Much Better now. New Side bunk's with carpet. The Primer Solenoid Assembly was replaced due to intermittent starting problems. Starts right up now every time. OEM Evinrude part. Not cheap. Both tanks were fully cleaned and filled with fresh non ethanol fuel - Treated with Startron Enzyme fuel treatment. She has two 6 gallon tanks. The trolling motor is the original Evinrude. Was pulled down and cable lubed - pivot point's greased. Works like a charm. The Hummingbird sounder on the front is original. It powers up .. but does not give depth. The console mounted fish finder is a Tracker Wide 128 and works perfectly. Running lights are in perfect working order. As you can see from the pictures .. It's super clean for it's age. I put her in the water and fished half a day. She's fast. Will bump 45 MPH on flat water with myself and tackle. Power Trim in perfect working order. Changed the fluid and greased all pivot points. Changed the Foot oil before I took it out and changed it again after water test as it was on the dirty side. Clean now. Comes with as pictured - 4 PFD'S / 2 Throw Cushions / Transom Saver / Anchor with New Rope / Tie Lines. I am less than 8 minutes from the Pine Hall Boat Landing on Belew's Lake. A water test is no problem Monday thru Thursday for a serous buyer. Will not put on that lake Friday / Saturday or Sunday unless its a cooler day.
