DESCRIPTION:
30' Pearson Coaster sailboat built in 1968. Boat is balanced under sail, tracks well due to its modified full keel and, unlike fin keel boats is not tender or squirrelly and is therefor a good candidate for off-shore and rough weather cruising. The keel has a fully encased lead ballast so there's no keel bolts to be concerned with. Boat weighs 9000lbs. and draws 4’7. Hull is thick, solid fiberglass with no core so will not rot. These early Pearsons have no history of blistering ever. Rigged for single hand cruising. Comes with original plan drawings.
Interior is nice, comfortable, simple, and recently re-varnished. Over K invested in the last 3 years of updating and refurbishing. This boat is ready for your cruising; just add supplies.
Highly respected Schattauer sails are in very good condition with recent restitching, newly reinforced hand work, and newly applied leathers by Port Townsend’s Artful Sailor.
Main has 2 jiffy reefs and lazy jacks.
Spinnaker and pole which I have never used appear in good shape.
130% Genoa with Pro-furl roller furling and new ATN cover.
Other good head sails.
New standing rigging in 2023 by Port Townsend’s Brion Toss Rigging.
New chain plates.
New stainless steel mast step.
Very good running rigging
Bruce anchor with 36 ft of chain and 180 ft. of line.
Spare Danforth anchor and rode.
Dodger and sail covers restitched and in very good condition.
New dodger windows.
New complete deck netting to keep the kids and dogs on board.
Top to bottom paint and varnish in 2023.
Hanging closet
V-berth queen with 1” latex topper.
Convertible table/berth in main salon.
Dual fuel stove: electric or alcohol.
New freshwater plumbing.
Ice box.
New Webasto diesel cabin heater.
New Nature’s Head composting toilet.
MOB Lifesling.
Transom ladder.
Good wiring with all LED lighting, running to interior.
All new 120 volt wiring with Smart Plug.
Two battery system with built-in dual battery charger.
Garmin chart plotter and depth sounder.
New VHF and AIS transmitter
Electric bilge pump and manual bilge pump.
20 gallon Monel gas tank.
Drip-less shaft seal.
Atomic 4 gas engine is dependable and runs great:
has rebuilt top end with recently machined cylinder head,
rebuilt carburetor,
new fresh water cooling pump,
rebuilt salt water pump,
new electric fuel pump,
new high output alternator,
new low oil pressure cut-off,
3-way fresh water flush valve,
and many spares including a Universal diesel if wanted.
I loved this boat and still do, but it doesn't work for my life partner.
Check it out and make me an offer!
